FAQs

Do you take insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider, which means that I am not contracted with any health insurance companies and am not on any insurance panels. Payment arrangements are exclusively between myself and my patients. However, those with an insurance that offers out-of-network benefits may be able to receive reimbursement for sessions. I can provide you with a superbill, which has the necessary requirements so that you can receive reimbursement for services.

Be sure to contact your insurance provider directly to request more specific information about your plan’s reimbursement rate, deductible, and mental health coverage.

Questions to consider asking your insurance company:

  • Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health coverage?

  • If so, what percentage is covered?

  • Do I have a deductible? What is it and how much of it have I met?

  • What is the co-pay for a session if I see an out-of-network provider?

  • How do I submit a request for reimbursement?

  • What is the reimbursement for CPT code 90834 and 90837?

Do you offer a sliding scale?

I reserve a limited number of slots for people experiencing financial hardship, including students. These slots are currently full. To inquire more about fees related to my lower-fee slots, please call or email.

How do you take payment?

Payment is due at the time of service. Payments may be made by credit card, debit card, cash, check, or Zelle.

Are you accepting new patients?

As this varies with my schedule, please reach out directly to find out if I'm currently accepting new patients.
